With a comprehensive filter built into the lens composition, BluTech Lenses block an incredible 70% of blue light from reaching your eyes. BluTech Lenses work via customized pigment that’s infused into the optical lenses. The ocular lens pigment is combined with melanin before addition into the lenses. As a result – the same level of visual contrast, color perception and protection is provided for your eyes as the genuine coloration of your natural crystalline lens.
BluTech Lenses are impact-resistant, proven safe for eyes and necessary for preserving healthy vision. Ideal for all environments, indoor and outdoor, these protective lenses are available in prescription and nonprescription versions. Outdoor lenses block potentially dangerous sun rays, and indoor lenses guard your eyes from artificial sources of blue light, such as fluorescent lights, digital screens and LED lighting. In addition to filtering out the damaging blue light, BluTech Lenses can improve night vision and visual acuity, as they reduce glare and upgrade visual contrast. They will ease the strain on your eyes and soothe your eyesight.
Reduce Digital Eyestrain with Crizal Lenses Recommended By Specs For Less
Glare during the daytime can be just as detrimental to your lifestyle, especially if you’re sitting in front of a computer monitor all day. Digital eyestrain contributes to blurred vision, tired eyes, and even headaches. Crizal No-Glare lenses can reduce digital eyestrain by limiting glare from electronic devices.
Stay Safe from Ultraviolet Rays
UV light isn’t just a danger for your skin; it can also damage your eyes. However, there’s good news: Crizal lenses have an E-SPF® value of 25, which means they provide 25 times more UV protection than going without eyewear.
Crizal lenses are made for more than just better eyesight — they’re also made to last. Crizal lenses are designed with durability in mind, and engineered to provide long-lasting, clean, clear vision. Crizal uses extensive tests to ensure its lenses meet the highest of standards. After a comprehensive evaluation by the Good Housekeeping Research Institute, the Seal was presented to Crizal lenses as a symbol of consumer trust and satisfaction.

Varilux Eyezen Lenses – Protection Against Blue Light
Digital devices and usages are increasing the demands on our eyes. Closer and variable reading distances, smaller and more pixelated characters and longer exposure to screen glare are causing tired eyes and potentially exposing our eyes to the longer-term consequences of harmful blue-violet light. As many as three out of four people feel that they suffer from visual fatigue.
Eyezen is a new range of lenses designed for a connected life. It draws on extensive Essilor research, and includes two important technologies. The first: Eyezen Focus lens technology brings extra power optimized according to wearers’ profiles in the bottom part of the lens to support the eye’s effort in focusing at ultra-near distances that are typical of handheld devices. The second is Light Scan, a unique light filtering technology drawn from Essilor’s landmark Crizal Prevencia innovation, which protects eyes from the harmful blue-violet light emitted by digital screens.
Within the Eyezen range are different types of solution. Essilor Eyezen are new single vision lenses for permanent wear available in different design optimizations. These support eye focusing efforts according to the physiological needs of three age groups (young adults aged 20-34 years, pre-presbyopes aged 35-44 and emerging presbyopes 45-50 years).
Varilux Eyezen are new multi-focal lenses for occasional wear specifically designed for the digital activities of presbyopes. They exist in three designs optimized according to type of screen most used – smartphone/tablet, computer or large screen (TV or projector).
In addition to existing personalization parameters, Varilux Eyezen lenses also offer an exclusive new personalization parameter – screen distance (vision distance to computer screen) to match individual intermediate vision needs.
